Welcome to the fourth installment of our New Resident Guide! 

We polled our staff and our residents to discover their favorite spots to eat, shop, and explore in Little Rock. Now, we can share them with those of you moving to Little Rock and making your new home in our luxury apartment community.

After exploring the best photo spots, outdoor trails, and local restaurants we recommended, you deserve a night out on the town. If you’re looking for a great drink and a fun atmosphere, check out one of these spots and experience Little Rock nightlife! 

There are two main areas for going out near The Pointe North Hills: Downtown Little Rock and the Argenta Arts District. 

Downtown Little Rock

Did you know Downtown Little Rock is just five minutes away from us? Just think how affordable an Uber ride would be!

Thanks to the River Market Entertainment District, you can even walk around, bar hop, and experience several spots on President Clinton Avenue all in one night.

But if you want the locals’ recommendations, there are six spots our staff and residents enjoy most downtown.

Big Whiskey’s

Whiskey? On draft? That’s exactly what Big Whiskey’s has to offer thanks to their partnership with Rock Town Distillery.

If you aren’t into whiskey, of course, they also have a full bar and standard bar food fare you can enjoy. 

Make note that due to the pandemic, their hours have changed a little bit. As of now, they are open until 9:00 pm Thursday through Monday. Follow them on Facebook to keep up with the latest!

Brewski’s

Craving a night at that fun sports bar you frequented during college? That’s the atmosphere Brewski’s Pub & Grub can offer you on Main Street.

Upstairs, it has big screen TVs showing all the sports channels you can watch while you down a burger with some beer. There, they also host trivia night, poker night, and karaoke night.

Downstairs, the vibe changes a little bit. The Basement is where you can go to play some pong or dance to a live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights! 

They are open until midnight Sunday to Wednesday and 2:00 am Thursday to Saturday.

Cannibal & Craft

Another fun nightlife spot in Little Rock that offers two separate experiences is Cannibal & Craft, which just opened last year.

The first floor, which you enter from street level, offers a classic cocktail lounge with drinks like an Old Fashioned, Pimm’s Cup, or Whiskey Sour. Upstairs is where the “Cannibal” part comes in!

A nightclub awaits you there with a live DJ, and you can order a Tiki-style cocktail or a tabletop fishbowl to share with your friends. 

Cannibal & Craft is open until 1:00 am on Tuesday and Wednesday or 2:00 am Thursday to Saturday. 

Dugan’s Pub

What kind of bar and nightlife round-up would this be if we didn’t include an Irish bar? Of course, it’s one of our residents’ favorites!

Dugan’s Pub, located on the corner of Rock and 3rd Street, is where you need to go if you’re craving a pint, a bit of company, and some Shephard’s Pie. The drinks are great and there’s always a game on the television with a crowd there to watch it.

Dugan’s is open late every night of the week but you should get there early if you want a good seat. 

The Library

Another great spot to watch sports and enjoy live music is The Library Kitchen & Lounge, which happens to be right next to Cannibal & Craft.

The bar offers a huge menu, cocktail specials, and even brunch if you want to check it out during on a Sunday.

But, for the best nightlife experience, check out their events page to see who’s playing next and when. The Library is open late every night of the week!

Willy D’s

Our last nighlife spot we recommend in Downtown Little Rock is the biggest one: Willy D’s Rock & Roll Piano Bar.

The dueling pianos are what make this place so fun because the pianists play a little bit of everything to get the crowd involved. They take requests, play games, and keep the party going all night long on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

But, if you’re not feeling the piano bar vibes, you don’t have to leave the building to hit up another hot spot. Just go downstairs and dance to a live DJ at DEEP or head down the hallway to play pool at Prost!

Argenta Arts District

Would you rather stay on this side of river to enjoy some nightlife? The Argenta Arts District right here in North Little Rock is just a few minutes away from our luxury apartment community!

It has great restaurants, an outdoor dining district, and a new open-air plaza with a regular schedule of fun events.

But if a bar is what you’re after, we have a couple of fun ones to recommend. 

Cregeen’s Irish Pub

Another popular Irish pub in Little Rock is an Argenta neighborhood classic. 

Cregeen’s has 50 beers on tap and over 200 whiskeys to wet your whistle while you snack on an Irish pretzel, duck wings, or fried cheese curds any night of the week.

Give them a follow on Facebook to learn about upcoming events and specials – we saw recently they started hosting stand-up comedy on Monday nights!

Four Quarter Bar

Looking for a Little Rock bar that stays open late every night of the week? Four Quarter closes at 2:00 am Sunday to Saturday, and their kitchen stays open late, too!

Their live music line-up stays full of fun local and traveling acts, so follow them on Facebook to plan your next night out. Just don’t forget to enjoy a local craft beer while you’re there.
